Founded in 1947, La Garenne is a co-educational, family-run international boarding school that welcomes students aged 4 to 18 (including one of the few Primary School boarding options in Switzerland). Located at 1,250m in the charming French-speaking Alpine resort of Villars-sur-Ollon, the school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and is an IB World School.

La Garenne's curriculum is based on academic excellence and a bilingual approach. The school offers a progressive educational journey through the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the final two years offer the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the La Garenne High School Diploma.

SUMMERS & WINTER CAMPS

  • La Garenne offers popular Camps structured in multi-week sessions throughout the year.

    • Summer Camp: Runs in sessions from late June to early August, open to students aged 6 to 16.

    • Winter Camp: Runs in sessions from January to mid-March, open to students aged 5 to 16.

    Camps feature morning language classes in French or English. Afternoons are dedicated to thrilling outdoor and non-digital activities, including mountain and lake adventures in summer, or the dedicated Super Ski programme in winter. Optional high-performance sports, such as Juventus Football coaching (summer), are available, all while experiencing the school's renowned family atmosphere.

CO-CURRICULAR

  • The school offers over 120 co-curricular activities, including sports, music, drama, art, and intellectual clubs like Model United Nations and Young Investors.
